Pantsuit

by

The times when wearing a suit to work connoted all business and no fun are long gone. Pantsuits these days are not only a work staple but can easily be spotted at all variety of places ranging from streets  to chic events! Over and again, designers have made pantsuits walk down the runway in all sort of colours and cuts, from relaxed looks with deconstructed jackets and fluid trousers to work appropriate pairings in sweet colours. Let’s just say, they aren’t your basic, boring grey suits. These are looks that flaunt your style, your figure and yeah, the notion that you do in fact mean business.

This velvet pantsuit is a perfect example of chic meets business. It could go from desk to drinks in a heartbeat and that’s what makes it so flawless. The dirty pink colour is flirty, sexy and chic and probably my favourite right now. I have never been a pink loving girl, more like a pink loathing girl since this hue is so strongly associated with femininity and I am far from that. My style lies somewhere in between a low maintenance tomboy girl to a city chic fashion conscious person. But neither of them identified with pink. Ever! But this dirty pink colour has somehow made an impression on me, probably because it really suits my skin tone!?

What do you think?
